► Since MoorClan cats live in such an expansive and rather vulnerable territory, they are often described as humble and reliable cats, always having each other's backs. Although they tend towards pacifism, they ensure that the other Clans do not mistake their kindness for weakness. They abide strictly by the Warrior Code, perhaps a bit more stringently than the other Clans, and regard rulebreakers as irrevocably vile creatures. They tend to have smaller, lithe builds and are known for their impressive speed to aid them in battle and hunting along the open plain. During leafbare, the warriors and apprentices dig small burrows for the elders and queens to shelter in for warmth.

territory layout
► The MoorClan territory is simple yet intimidating. It has hardly any foliage coverage besides the springy grasses underfoot, and the prey must be stalked and captured with the utmost stealth. Only MoorClan cats truly possess the skills to navigate such an open terrain and hunt its prey. Their territory sidles along the GladeClan aspen woods, and a brief stretch of the trees lay just within their borders. The MoorClan camp lies within a patch of barren land, and is lined with large rocks, dirt, and spongy moss to provide some protection against the elements. Some common prey found here includes voles, mice, kingfisher, toads, and rabbits.

clan traditions
► Tall Grass Relay Race: MoorClan cats rely heavily on their stamina, and this is one of the ways the Clan likes to display their prowess. This event takes place the night of the half-moon each moon. Teams of 2-3 cats, usually two apprentices and one warrior, are chosen by the leader and deputy and will compete against each other to race through 3 checkpoints. The first two checkpoints for each team will be chosen by the leader or deputy overseeing the race, and the final checkpoint will always be back at the camp. The first cat to reach the camp wins the race for their team, and honor among the Clan. All those chosen to participate are also considered honorable, as it is a sacred tradition.
