The heat of sun-high bathed down on Hollowstar, warming her oddly dappled pelt as she stretched across the stones beneath her. Stretching her jaws in a massive yawn, the Cloudclan leader blinked lazily as she gazed across the territory. Greenleaf has been good to her clan this season, and with her belly full of prey, the leader rested easily knowing that her clan was at peace and well. Despite all that has happened in the past, the clans were mostly at ease with one another, aside from the minor skirmishes that were to be expected, and Hollowstar could rest easy at night knowing that her clan was safe. Ever since she became leader, Hollowstar was wracked with anxiety, often on how she would be able to keep her clan safe. She was thrown into leadership so suddenly, before she had learned everything she needed to from her predecessor, Shimmerstar; yet despite the sudden transition from deputy to leader, Hollowstar was doing her best to lead her clan well.

copmymanner WATCH YOUR BACK WHEN YOU CAN'T WATCH MINE The comfort of Greenleaf was far from the lazy summer days Leafblossom remembered as a kit. Those simpler times where her greatest concerns lay with who would get to play as the nasty GulchClan warrior and who would pretend to be a mighty CloudClan leader, striking them down with a ferocious pawswipe. But those memories of vivid imaginations and boundless energy were far behind the warrior now, as she'd assumed the position of deputy within her Clan. The sudden death of Shimmerstar came as a shock to nearly every cat, including those outside of CloudClan, but their collective fear for the future was almost immediately soothed by the even-tempered reign of Hollowstar. She'd led her Clan with dignity and poise ever since she'd become deputy, and this trend only continued as she assumed the position of leader. The transition of power had gone, well.. Remarkably well. The two had been fairly friendly to one another, but their bond was fast growing as the weight of the Clan fell on their surprisingly young shoulders. Padding towards the rocky terrain, the dappled she-cat slipped past a nettle of ferns with a plump dove hanging limp in her maw. The bird swayed to and fro as she noiselessly moved forward, deliberately making her way towards her marbled leader. Her eyes remained steadfastly focused as she trotted to sit beside Hollowstar, dropping the dove and nudging it towards her with her nose. "I figured you might be out here, might as well eat if you're hungry. Don't worry, Minkpaw's been sent back to camp to feed the elders and queens with the catches he's made," she murmured good-naturedly, resting on her haunches to glance sideways at her leader, "We hardly had to step a few foxlengths out of camp to catch all the prey we did. StarClan has truly blessed us this Greenleaf." The spotted warrior paused, speaking more briskly now that some of the formalities of the morning had been completed, "The dawn patrol scented GulchClan a bit too close to our borders this morning, but I did not see it for myself. Perhaps we should take a trip to our part of the forest to investigate it for ourselves? If GulchClan thinks that they can get away with this kind of brazen behavior, they've got another thing coming." Her eyes narrowed as she instinctively sheathed and unsheathed her claws, tail lashing in obvious frustration, "With the Gathering approaching, it might be a good time to put GulchClan in their place." Leafblossom knew her words held more venom than they probably needed, but her bias against the low-dwelling cats stretched far beyond her roots into the ancestors of CloudClan. Surely they would agree with her distaste for them. Hollowstar MADE BY MINNIE OF FTS & GANGNAM STYLE

Hollowstar hummed softly, her large plumey tail leaving soft trails in the dirt. She agreed with her deputy, Gulchclan seemed to be growing too arrogant for their own good and often drifted too close to the borders, but the leader was unsure if going harshly after their neighbors was the best idea. Prey was running well, and her clan was happy, Hollowstar felt no need to start an unnecessary turf war now.
Pricking her ears to the sounds of prey scurrying through the forest, Hollowstar blinked steadily at Leafblossom, "I'll make sure to tell them to watch their paws," The speckled leader breathed, her voice no louder than a soft breeze through the trees, "But right now, this is nothing to start a war over. We'll continue marking the border regularly, and be sure to keep eyes on that area often," Hollowstar mused, gazing off to someplace beyond her deputy, working through the situations in her mind. "If Gulchclan gets out of line, we'll make sure to let them know where they stand," The leader breathed, her words carrying a heavy threat in them. Even with her even temper, Hollowstar carried a threatening aura about her, one that has earned her the respect of both her clanmates and cats of neighboring clans.
Taking a bite out of the dove, she relished in the sweet warmth of the bird, nodding to allow Leafblossom to join her in the meal; a warmth spread over Hollowstars black and paled fur, at ease with the knowledge that her clan, at least for the moment, was safe. The sunlight that glittered through the trees lifted the weight from between Hollowstars shoulders, allowing her to breathe easier knowing that her leadership had been good to her clan. Look at me now, father... The she-cat thought bitterly, Look at what you lost.
